New Zealand and India will go head-tohead in all three international cricket formats in a triple series guaranteed to draw the crowds. Both sides are hungry to win.

The BLACKCAPS will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing tour of Australia earlier this summer when they face cricketing giants India on home soil this month.

The Kiwi outfit were hit by injuries and poor form against the Australians and will be desperate to showcase the skills that saw them climb to No 2 in the test rankings and go within a whisker of winning the ICC Cricket World Cup last year.

Indian tours are always eagerly anticipated and big crowds will be out supporting both teams as they do battle in five T20 Internationals, three ODIs and two test matches.

The Indian batting line-up might be the most daunting in all of world cricket at the moment. Led by the great Virat Kohli and with a supporting cast that includes the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant, India have no shortage of match-winners.

But it is with the ball that they have shown the most improvement in recent years. They come to New Zealand with a bowling attack that will fancy them on New Zealand wickets.

Speedster Jasprit Bumrah will extract pace and movement with the new ball and will be backed up by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami, while spinner Ravi Ashwin has caused headaches for Kiwi line-ups for many a season now.

The two sides famously met in a tense ICC Cricket World Cup semifinal last year. India were heavily favoured to win, having dominated the tournament to that point, but the BLACKCAPS pressured them into mistakes before claiming famous win that saw them advance to the final and dump Kohli and co from the tournament.

Indian fans won’t have forgotten and the Indian side will be desperate to exact some revenge.
