About the role…

As the Advertising Traffic Co-ordinator you’ll prepare and check commercial airtime daily channel logs for transmission on Sky Television and on Prime, and undertake administrative tasks associated with commercial traffic management. You’ll work closely with Ad Sales, Content Operations, Programming, and Technology as well as maintaining close relationships with external advertising agencies, production houses, clients, television Commercials Approvals Bureau (CAB), Adstream and Peach Video.

You’ll need to be detail-oriented, dedicated and passionate about the customer experience.

The key areas of focus will include:

  • Ensuring commercials are scheduled appropriately

  • Ensuring there are no clashes between competing products, and sponsorship requirements are fulfilled (including close liaison with Account Co-ordinators)

  • Working with advertising agencies and direct clients to determine advertising material

  • Ensure advertising logs are released in a timely manner

  • Accurately instructing commercials through the traffic system

  • Ensuring all material is set up in Traffic systems, received on station and rated prior to transmission

What Skills and Experience you’ll need…

  • Tertiary qualification in Office Systems or Media / Advertising (advantageous but not necessary)

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Proven communication skills

  • Naturally attentive to detail

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Working understanding of Broadcast Standards Authority regulations and implications
