The BLACKCAPS reignite an intense cricket rivalry with England featuring five T20 clashes and two test matches. The first T20 match-up is at Christchurch’s Hagley Oval on November 1 followed by matches at Wellington’s Westpac Stadium; Nelson’s Saxton Oval; McLean in Napier and Auckland’s Eden Park.

For the T20 series the experienced Tim Southee will lead the BLACKCAPS in the absence of Kane Williamson who has been withdrawn to recover from a hip injury.

Eion Morgan leads the England T20 squad with backup from Jonny Bairstow, Chris Jordan, James Vince and the Curran brothers Tom and Sam.

Both teams will use this series to further finetune combinations ahead of next year’s ICC T20 World Cup in Australia during October and November.

The two test matches are scheduled for Mount Maunganui’s Bay Oval starting November 21 and eight days later at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

Both England and the BLACKCAPS feature combatants from the epic Cricket World Cup final with Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson, Ross Taylor, Colin Munro, Henry Nicholls and co. looking to front up against the tourists with Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes spearheading the test line-up.

Both the Bay Oval and Seddon Park pitches are considered two of the best in New Zealand and will offer both bowlers and batsmen the chance to dominate.
