Entertainment Marketing Lead- Fixed Term 12 Months Maternity Cover

About the role…

As the Entertainment Marketing Lead you’ll help grow Sky’s customer base and the lift engagement amongst our customers. You should have experience building engaging, creative and smart marketing campaigns that drive consumer love for a passion brand.  This role works closely with Content Partners, PR, Digital, and CVM counterparts representing a strong consumer voice for entertainment content, channels and partners across Sky.

You’ll need to be a passionate marketer with demonstrated experience in crafting and executing enganging consumer and digital marketing campaigns.

The key areas of focus will include:
•    The Sky entertainment brand and content marketing strategy and plan 
•    Delivering a calendar of entertainment events that add value for our customers
•    Driving entertainment strategy across internal stakeholders, customer communications, social, promos and publicity
•    Working with the Sky Brand team to ensure alignment on major plans and events throughout the year
•    Entertainment product brand marketing and performance against target customer numbers
•    Bringing insights and data to support content curation across our portfolio of entertainment brands and channels to improve the customer viewing experience and engagement.
•    Monitoring and measuring the performance and customer satisfaction with Sky’s entertainment offering to refine and improve
•    Working alongside Acquisitions with content partners to improve the Sky offer with a commercial and customer mindset
•    Campaign budget management to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness
•    Inspiring internal and external agencies to innovate and deliver outstanding creative work

Your Back Story Brings
•    +7 years’ marketing experience
•    Relevant university marketing or business degree advantageous but not necessary
•    Strong experience across Brand development and evolution
•    Experience working in the Entertainment and/or Sporting sectors 
•    Significant experience in consumer marketing with natural partner management and influencing skills
•    Experience understanding and keeping attuned with the external market and changing landscape – bringing insights internally
•    A track record that shows a blend of creative flair and judgement and the art of story telling
•    An analytical orientation and customer insight with a deep understanding of consumerism and the ability to deliver to the consumer
•    Commercially astute with an understanding of product financial management
•    Proven experience of managing agencies
•    Experience shaping and communicating your strategic vision to key stakeholders
•    A strategic mindset but with a clear track record of delivering outcomes
•    Naturally collaborative, team player, resilient and builds strong relationships internally and externally
•    A passionate and dynamic leader with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams and individuals to deliver excellent results
•    Experience and passion for building great digital marketing programmes that are unique and scalable
