Māori Language Week

Week starting Monday 9 September Channel 102

Reo Time with Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears!

The three bear brothers, Panda, Grizzly and Ice Bear, are back to celebrate Māori Language Week.

Special We Bare Bears episodes feature New Zealand screen legend Temuera Morrison (Once Were Warriors, Aquaman) who voices Grizz in te reo Māori. In addition, new clips introduce fun sayings in te reo Māori and teach kids how to use them in real life with the help of the bears.

We Bare Bears is an animated comedy about three brothers trying to fit in and make friends...which can be kinda hard to do when you’re a bear. Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear are fairly savvy about the modern world: they’re masters of the selfie, fans of the food truck, and chasers of internet fame. But they still have a lot to learn about the trendy residents that surround their humble cave. Always up for an adventure, Grizzly, the oldest bear, leads his younger brothers, Panda and Ice Bear, with heaps of optimism that only results in disaster some of the time.

Tune in to Cartoon Network (Channel 102) or the Cartoon Network Watch and Play App between Monday 9th – Sunday 15th of September for Māori Language Week. It’s time to learn some te reo with We Bare Bears!

Catch the three episodes (Lazer Royale, Dance Lessons & Bear Party) on Channel 102 in the following times:

Monday 9th September from 6pm

Friday 13th September from 8pm
