Turning around a failing restaurant is a daunting challenge under the best of circumstances but attempting to do it in just two days with only USD$10,000 may be impossible. Luckily, Chef Robert Irvine doesn’t shy away from a challenge. A little bit MacGyver and a lot of muscle, he rescues these desperate places from complete collapse. This season opens in Ohio at Moss’ Prime Rib and Spaghetti House, where he soon realises that the problems of this restaurant go beyond the subpar food. Later, he meets Lynn, the owner of Chatterbox in Windham, New Hampshire, who has used her late husband’s life insurance policy to open a restaurant. Chef Robert only has two days to give the well-intentioned, but naïve family the tools and skills to be successful in this business. Can he do it…or is it impossible?
