Raymond Burr stars as Robert T. Ironside, a wheelchair-bound detective who leads a team of special investigators in a battle for peace on the streets of San Francisco. Paralysed by a sniper's bullet, Ironside is now aided by his two protégés, Det. Sgt. Ed Brown (Don Galloway) and Officer Eve Whitfield (Barbara Anderson).
Set during the turbulent 1960s, the Emmy Award-winning Ironside confronted the hottest issues of its time – civil rights, drugs, hippies, rock 'n' roll – topping the ratings from 1967 to 1975, and gave television its first disabled hero.
The ground–breaking inaugural season boasts original music by Quincy Jones and an array of guest stars including Jack Lord, Bruce Lee, Harrison Ford, Susan Saint James, David Carradine and Gary Collins.
