And Now For Something Completely Different!

Sundays 8.30pm Channel 208

The legendary surrealist sketch comedy troupe – made up of iconic comedians John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones and Graham Chapman - traces its roots back to the early 1960s, when members met at university, but it wasn’t until 1969’s MONTY PYTHON’S FLYING CIRCUS that the crew went big time. And we’ve got every episode of the extremely bizarre, but oh so funny, cult comedy series.

Taking its name from the title of the comedy troupe themselves (Monty Python) and their nickname around the BBC offices where they worked (Circus), the show is an intellectual but effortlessly comedic take on everyday life, often sending up the idiosyncracies of utterly trivial moments – shopping, hiking, eating out, and so on.
