JENNY-MAY CLARKSON JOINS SKY SPORT’S NETBALL ZONE

SKY Sport is delighted to announce that former Silver Fern and New Zealand media personality Jenny-May Clarkson has joined Jordan Vandermade as the host of SKY Sport’s dedicated netball show, Netball Zone starting Wednesday May 9th.

The former Silver Fern will be no stranger to Kiwis having been on New Zealand television screens for over 20 years, where she played 26 matches for the Silver Ferns between 1997 and 2002. In 2001 she made her sports commentating debut and joined TVNZ in 2005 as a sports journalist where she continues to present the sports bulletin.

SKY Director of Sport Richard Last says: “It’s fantastic to have secured Jenny-May for Netball Zone, she has huge credibility amongst the netball and broadcast community, and will be a huge asset to the show alongside Jordan. We wish her the best of luck.”

Jenny-May Clarkson says: “It’s an exciting time to be involved with netball in this country. Of course there was disappointment from the recent Commonwealth Games, but this also presents an opportunity, and I’m sure we can look forward to an ANZ Premiership season packed full of extremely determined players. It will also be great to be teaming up with Jordan again, we worked together once upon a time at TVNZ covering netball and I’m excited to get cracking on Netball Zone.”

The new-look Netball Zone will screen after every Wednesday night’s ANZ Premiership game on SKY Sport 1 at 9.30pm. The show will feature reaction from the previous game, LIVE interviews, player profiles, competitions and weekly guests.
