About Kristy: Kristy Havill is a former world championship silver medallist in clay target shooting, and also plays cricket for the Canterbury Magicians. Originally from a dairy farm on the West Coast of the South Island, Kristy was based in Christchurch during high school and also throughout the completion of her Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management degree.

Following a stint as CEO of Squash Canterbury, Kristy became a contributor for LockerRoom and also featured on BBC Test Match Special's radio commentary during the recent White Ferns v England series while she was away overseas.

When she's not bowling leg spin for Canterbury, Kristy can be found playing for her beloved Lancaster Park Cricket Club instead. Last season she match managed BLACKCAPS, White Ferns, Canterbury Kings and Canterbury Magicians fixtures at Hagley Oval, and will take on a similar role for the upcoming ICC Women's World Cup when Hagley host five matches - including a semi-final and the final.
