It’s that time of year again with the Mitre 10 Cup kicking off on Thursday night with North Harbour taking on Otago in a Championship final rematch.
 
SKY Sport has exclusive LIVE coverage of all 76 matches over the 11 weeks of competition including pool play, Ranfurly Shield clashes and all the finals action. 
 
Matches screen LIVE Wednesday to Sunday, with games played early afternoon, early evening and at 7.30pm on SKY Sport 1.
 
2017 Mitre 10 Cup Talking Points
 
This season will see Hawke’s Bay and North Harbour officially swapping places, Hawke’s Bay will play in the Championship and North Harbour will have their first shot at the Premiership title.
Canterbury (pictured after beating Tasman in last year's final) are not only the defending Premiership champions, but they’re also the current Ranfurly Shield holders and will do their all to defend the Log o’ Wood in 2017.
