SKY and beIN Media Group are making Kiwi football fans’ dreams a reality through a new partnership that will see the launch of a channel pack dedicated entirely to football.

Kicking off on August 9 ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League season, the beIN SPORTS tier will include two permanent and up to three beIN SPORTS Pop-up channels.

The tier will be available to all SKY domestic customers with the basic package for NZ$11.96 per month and will provide unprecedented LIVE coverage and analysis of the best football leagues and tournaments in the world, including the Premier League.

beIN SPORTS 1 will be a 24/7 dedicated Premier League channel broadcasting live games, highlights and studio shows, and will be available in HD for customers with an HD ticket.  beIN SPORTS 2  will show the best of live European football from the Spanish La Liga, English Football League Cup and Sky Bet Championship as well as providing additional live games from the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League to complement SKY Sport’s existing coverage of these competitions.  For extended football coverage, subscribers to the beIN SPORTS tier will also have access to up to three Pop-up channels.

The addition of the new beIN SPORTS tier reinforces SKY’s position as the home of world football in New Zealand.  SKY’s Director of Sport, Richard Last said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have the Premier League return on SKY and it’s exciting to be able to offer this channel pack to all SKY’s domestic customers regardless of whether they have a SKY Sport subscription. The beIN SPORTS tier features truly premium content that I know fans will love and it’s been great to work with beIN to bring these channels to SKY customers.”
