FAN PASS PUTS THE FUN INTO FUNDRAISING FOR KIWI CLUBS

Forget meat raffles to pay for the new team uniforms; New Zealand sports clubs can now fundraise just by watching sport, thanks to the launch of FAN PASS Clubs today.

The new service enables clubs to earn 10% from every FAN PASS sold, while their members also get 10% off day, week or month passes they buy. It’s a win, win.

FanPass general manager Cuan Gray says: “We are always looking for different ways to enable Kiwis to watch the sports they love when they want and we love the strong community presence of New Zealand sports clubs.”

For every 100 passes sold, FAN PASS will also give the club a free Google Chromecast which the clubs can raffle off or give to their members to stream key sports events to a big screen at home.

“We’ve had a small number of clubs trialling the service over the past couple of months and they couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We are looking forward to welcoming many more sports clubs in the coming months,” says Cuan.

Mission Bay Tennis Club member Anton Koukine says: “We're obviously very interested in making tennis more available to our members. But we're also keen to promote this terrific new fundraising idea whenever there are major events on. This is simple enough for everyone to understand and a great way for the members to contribute to the club while enjoying watching sport!."

Wayne Peterson from Cambridge Racquets Club says: "I think it's a clever concept and so easy to use. More and more club members will use it as they hear about Fan Pass, that’s going to help fundraise for our club in such a fun way."

FAN PASS gives you get the freedom and flexibility to watch sport in high definition quality when you want to, without contracts or long-term commitment. SKY Sport channels 1,2,3 and 4 are on offer through the FAN PASS website or mobile app. Passes for a day, a week or a month start at just $14.99.
