EXCLUSIVE ALL BLACKS v SPRINGBOKS DOCUMENTARY ON SKY SPORT

As the All Blacks prepare for what could be a history making match against the Springboks in South Africa this weekend, SKY Sport looks back at the most historic All Blacks v Springboks test series win, the 1996 tour, with a one hour documentary which airs this week marking the 20 year anniversary.

SKY Sport revisits the momentous battles and talks to the men from the 1996 tour of South Africa, captained by Sean Fitzpatrick, to tell the story about finally conquering the Springboks in a test series at home; a feat only achieved once in All Blacks history.

The documentary features SKY Sport presenters and former All Blacks Christian Cullen, Jeff Wilson, Ian Jones, and Justin Marshall alongside other key players including Josh Kronfield, while revisiting the moments that made the 1996 tour special.

The 1996 tour has gone down in rugby folklore as one of the best battles for New Zealand rugby fans as the All Blacks had previously been unsuccessful in 1928, 1949, 1960, 1970 and 1976 against the Springboks.

Catch the All Blacks in action this weekend against the Springboks LIVE on SKY Sport 1 at 3.30am as they aim to beat South Africa at home again, and also aim for the world record of consecutive test victories.
