Life needs more Sky!  Connecting New Zealanders to the sport and entertainment they love, in ways that work for them, is our relentless focus.  NEON, our entertainment streaming software platform, is something we’re super proud to have as part of the Sky collection.  It’s supported by a fun, agile and diverse bunch who have shared values and a passion for bringing great TV and movies to all of New Zealand, every day (especially in lockdowns). 

We’re now after a top-notch Senior Developer to provide technical design, development and maintenance of the platform.

What will you be doing?

  • You will solve challenging problems through the delivery of quality code and will use innovation and insight to provide improvements in design and development

  • You’ll collaborate and communicate with your team deliver great customer experiences

  • You’ll use your eye for detail and deep understanding of platform management to identify enhancements or risks

What will you bring?

You’ll be proficient in JavaScript (React or Node.js focused), experienced using Git and CI/CD and have sound understanding of DevOps and Test Driven development.  You’ll also have front end development skills (JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS), knowledge of GraphQL and experience with rest API.  You’ll thrive in a team environment and will be comfortable working in agile/Scrum, and you’ll bring a great attitude, a curious nature and enthusiasm for what you do.
