Sky Sport continues to back New Zealand sport with the announcement that it will sponsor the Warriors women in the upcoming NRL Holden Women’s Premiership 2019 season, kicking off this September LIVE on Sky Sport.

“Women’s rugby league is going from strength to strength in New Zealand and we’re thrilled to have our close friends from Sky Sport on board backing our NRLW team,” said Vodafone Warriors CEO Cameron George.

“We’ve had a wonderful partnership with Sky Sport for many years and we really appreciate the tremendous support they continue to provide.”

Sky Director of Sport, Tex Teixeira says Sky is proud to be supporting the Warriors women’s team.

“Having worked with the Vodafone Warriors for so many years it’s a real pleasure for Sky Sport to be able to play a part in supporting the Warriors women’s team as they begin to carve out their own legacy in the second year of the competition. Best of luck for the season, we can’t wait for it to kick-off on Sky Sport!”

The new Warriors women sponsorship follows Sky Sport’s recent rugby league sponsorships of the Kiwi Ferns, Kiwis and Junior Kiwis.

The NRL Holden Women’s Premiership 2019 season will kick-off in September, with every match LIVE on Sky Sport.
