Reporting into the Head of Product sales and operation, you will be responsible for managing and executing marketing plans that optimise acquisition traffic that generates conversion opportunities for new to Sky DTH sales.

A very critical role, you will be expected to work with the brand marketing team to create campaigns that communicate value for money and drive desire for potential customers to phone, head to www.sky.co.nz or any of the other additional sales channels to subscribe to Sky DTH packages.  You will be experienced in full 360 campaigns – including BTL, TV, digital, print and partnerships.

You will also be expected to deliver the necessary media planning to execute and track ROI for all activities while working closely to the analyst to optimise activities and understand the performance of each dollar spent by frequently completing Post Campaign Analysis.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a Specialist Acquisition with experience in the following range of areas or similar; 


  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing management roles

  • Strong collaborator and comfortable working across various teams

  • Ability to interpret financial and subscriber data to create strategic media investment plans

  • Keen project management ability to ensure all marketing campaigns and initiatives are designed, developed and launched within the given time-frames

  • Ability to manage media and creative agencies to deliver in time and on expectation

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • In depth understanding of acquisition traffic and conversion

  • Possess a combination of short term tactical planning as well as long term strategic planning
