SKY Sport is excited to bring New Zealand netball fans all 47 matches from the 2018 ANZ Premiership season exclusively LIVE from May 6th. 
 
All games will be broadcast LIVE on SKY Sport on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays - 13 rounds, including three Super Sundays (Rounds 1, 6 and 12) before the season culminates in a two-game Finals Series with the top three teams. Can the Ascot Park Southern Steel back up their 2017 title? All will be revealed in August.
 
The season will get underway with the first Super Sunday LIVE from Palmerston North, where all six teams will play back-to-back at the same arena.
 
SKY SPORT PRODUCTION
 
Just like the teams, the SKY Sport crew won’t be sitting still! Over the course of the ANZ Premiership the team will produce a staggering 42 days of LIVE world class netball (including three Super Sundays) from Auckland to Invercargill. 
For each Super Sunday SKY will have a total of 42 crew working on the productions.
For every regular season ANZ Premiership match an average of 20 SKY crew will be on site bringing you all of the LIVE action from the court to your couch.
 
WHAT’S NEW THIS SEASON?
 
A new high profile host will join Netball Zone, alongside Jordan Vandermade. Who will it be?...
A brand new local series between the Northern Mystics and Northern Stars will take place in 2018 for the first time. The Barfoot and Thompson Northern Challenge is a best of three series which will result in one team collecting a new trophy at the end of the third match.
SKY Sport is producing a one off documentary following the Northern Stars, this will screen in July in the lead up to the Super Sunday that the Northern Stars will host.

JENNY WOODS
 
Jenny’s passion for netball goes back a long way. While rounding up cows on the family farm as a youngster, Jenny would often call imaginary netball games. Jenny never made the Silver Ferns squad but did represent Taranaki at senior provincial level. After having her first shot at netball commentary at the 2007 Netball World Championships, Jenny has never looked back. 2017 brought up 10 years behind the microphone and her love of netball is as strong as ever! Jenny is also a senior journalist for Newstalk ZB in Auckland.
 
LESLEY MURDOCH
 
Like Jenny, Lesley clocked up 10 years behind the SKY Sport microphone in 2017. Hailing from a diverse sporting background. Lesley is a dual New Zealand sporting representative having been part of the 1982 Cricket World Cup squad and a member of the New Zealand Women’s hockey team at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
Lesley’s also a regular netball commentator for SKY, covering the World Championships, ANZ Championship and international netball.
 
RIKKI SWANNELL
 
Rikki Swannell is an ex-Sports Editor for Radio Sport and Newstalk ZB. She is an incredibly versatile commentator and presenter having covered events including the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, rugby, netball and cricket world cups, Wimbledon, the Australian Open and the recent Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games.
A passionate netball fan, Rikki has been a regular play-by-play commentator for SKY Sport in the ANZ Premiership and international netball and was the first ever female to call a first class cricket match in New Zealand.

BEKO NETBALL LEAGUE
 
Sitting below the ANZ Premiership is the Beko Netball League.  
 
A key pathway for New Zealand Netball players, the league is an essential development tool in producing the next level of elite ANZ Premiership players. 
 
SKY Sport will be covering one Beko Netball League match per week for the duration of the season. Matches will screen at 2pm on Sunday’s leading into the ANZ Premiership match at 4pm. This will be broadcast every Sunday except on Super Sunday’s (Round 1, 6 and 12). The teams playing in the Beko match will be the feeder teams from the ANZ Premiership teams playing in the 4pm game.
