PRIDE ON THE LINE: 'Trapper's Test'
PRIDE ON THE LINE:
After winning the first test of the 1983 series 16-12 in Christchurch the All Blacks travelled to Wellington wary of wounded British and Irish Lions outfit. The second test was played in gale-like conditions with the wind and rain sweeping down an exposed Athletic Park. With both packs battling the elements and each other it was left to the All Blacks’ halfback Dave ‘Trapper’ Loveridge to stamp his authority on the game.
