Martin Stewart

Chief Executive

Martin joined Sky as Chief Executive in February 2019. A highly-regarded media sector operator with a wealth of experience in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, Martin brings a valuable international perspective to Sky. In the TMT space Martin has been CEO of OSN, the leading pay TV network in the Middle East and was CFO of Sky in the United Kingdom when Sky launched its digital platform and the company doubled its subscriber base in 4 years. Other major roles include CFO of the Football Association in the UK, CEO of ONO (Cable Europa in Madrid), and CFO and Executive Director of EMI Group.

Blair Woodbury

Chief Financial Officer

Blair was appointed Chief Financial Officer in June 2019. Blair joined Sky from McKinsey & Company, where he has helped New Zealand and overseas businesses rapidly improve their performance since 2016. His background has been international and diverse, working with some of New Zealand’s largest iconic organisations, leading change programmes that have an enterprise-wide impact on both brand and performance. Prior to his time at McKinsey, Blair has worked for and consulted to many large organisations facing disruption in the communications and logistics industries with a focus on customer, product and network strategies.

Sophie Moloney

Chief Legal,People & Partnerships

Officer

Sophie joined Sky as General Counsel in January 2018 and was appointed Chief Legal Officer in February 2019, then Chief Legal, People and Partnerships Officer in May 2019.
Since moving on from the TMT practice of UK law firm Ashurst in 2003, Sophie has secured more than 15 years of experience in the media and entertainment sector. Sophie was a part of the legal and business affairs team at Sky UK between 2003 and 2010. In 2011, Sophie and her family moved to Abu Dhabi to support the launch and ongoing business of Sky News Arabia until 2013 in the role of Legal Director. She was seconded again by Sky UK to run TV channel launch projects for each of Abu Dhabi Media and TwoFour54 until 2015. Prior to joining SKY, Sophie was the Chief Legal Officer at OSN, a leading pay TV network in the Middle East headquartered in Dubai.


Chaz Savage

Chief Revenue Officer

Chaz joined Sky as Chief Revenue Officer in August 2019, and leads our customer sales, operations, customer care and customer value management functions along with Sky Business and advertising sales. With a wealth of media and telco experience, Chaz returned to New Zealand and Sky after seven years working internationally. Prior to Sky he was Chief Customer Officer for Multichoice Africa, where he was responsible for customer strategy and growth within a company that had a footprint in over 50 countries and in excess of 13 million customers.

Tex Teixeira

Director of Sport, Broadcast and

Entertainment

Tex joined Sky as Head of Sports Production in July 2012 and was appointed Director of Broadcast and Media in January 2016, then Director of Sport and Broadcasting in February 2019, and he took on the entertainment portfolio in August 2019.
Born in Portugal, educated in South Africa, living in (and loving) New Zealand, Tex considers himself to be a global citizen. Passionate about sport, he started his broadcast career driving small OB trucks back in the late 80s. Tex spent 20 years at SuperSport in South Africa before moving to New Zealand with his family and joining Sky.

Steve Bayliss

Chief Marketing Officer

Steve was appointed Chief Marketing Officer in May 2019. Steve is an experienced marketing professional with a passion for deep insight, outstanding customer experiences, and the power of creativity. He is a story teller, speaker, coach, and mentor, with a deep love for building great brands. Steve has held marketing leadership roles with Lion Nathan, Air New Zealand and Foodstuffs, and recently released his business book ‘Branded Culture’ about how enduringly great brands are built.


Chris Major

Director of External Affairs

Chris joined Sky as Director of Government Relations in 2013 after working in and around Parliament for most of her career, and was appointed Director of External Affairs in October 2017. She was communications director at The Treasury and a senior ministerial advisor for Rugby World Cup 2011. Chris worked for the Minister of Sport for some years, and spent five years at law firm Chapman Tripp.

Justin Tomlinson

Advisor for Digital Products &

Technology

Justin joined Sky as an Advisor for Digital Products and Technology in May 2019. Justin has significant experience in delivering broadcast and OTT platforms at Sky for Sky UK and has 20 years’ experience delivering transformative digital solutions.
Justin lead’s Sky’s technology team alongside Prabhu Singh. Justin heads Sky Digital, an exciting new team with a focus on building Sky’s digital future. Prabhu and his team are responsible for all other aspects of Sky’s technology.

Prabhu Singh

Director of Technology

Prabhu was appointed Director of Technology in August 2019. He was previously Head of Service in the Broadcast and Infrastructure team, and has been at Sky since December 2010. Prabhu has broad technology, telco, broadcast and online experience and prior to joining Sky, he held service delivery and management roles at Vodafone and TelstraClear.
Prabhu leads Sky’s technology team alongside Justin Tomlinson. Justin heads Sky Digital, an exciting new team with a focus on building Sky’s digital future. Prabhu and his team are responsible for all other aspects of Sky’s technology, including our strong commitment to continuing to deliver excellent services to Sky Direct-to-Home customers.
