Patrick and Narelle met and fell in love on the Greek Island of Rhodes. Narelle was teaching ballet at the time and Patrick was working as a yacht skipper. They secured the job of running Barinia, and sailed away into the unknown. They didn’t plan this life, nor did they suspect that over 25 years later, they would still be sailing this beautiful vintage yacht - Barinia has become their life.
In this series, viewers can join the skipper and the yacht’s chef, on a very special voyage to visit some of the most iconic and private locations in the Mediterranean. You will also meet the local people who are proud and protective of their traditions, their culture and inevitably, they express this eloquently through food and friendship. These are friendships that have taken 25 years to grow, and bind Patrick and Narelle to this great sea.
