The Southern Indoor Charity Dog Trials is an annually run event in the Agri Centre at the Southern Field Days Gore. The dogs have a short head then pull or drive their sheep through between some wine barrels then on through the dog kennels and over the bridge. They then proceed through a U and into the pen. These trials are well supported with competitors from all over the South Island, and all money raised is then donated to a local charity and this year the charity of choice is Hospice Southland.
