If your Sky Box isn’t connected to the internet
If you’re looking to book premium Express Release movies you’ll need to book via On Demand
- Simply sign into My Account
- Head to the Sky Box Office movies section in your Dashboard and book your Sky Box Office movie.
- Once you have booked online, you’ll be able to find your movie in your Planner on your Sky Box.

If your Sky Box is connected to the internet
If you’re looking to book premium Express Release movies you’ll need to book On Demand
- There are a selection of SBO channels (40-43) on your Sky Box. If your Box is connected to the internet, you can go to these channels and book using your remote.
- Simply follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once your movie has been booked, you can go to this channel to watch the next scheduled movie. The channel will be unlocked for 24 hours.

If your Sky Box is connected to the internet
If you’re looking for a wide selection of Sky Box Office movies, including our premium Express Release movies you can find them via On Demand.
- Simply press your box office button on your remote. This will take you to On Demand.
- Go to Box Office where you can choose a movie from Express Release, New Releases or perhaps a collection that we’ve created.
- Once you’ve chosen your movie, press ‘Rent to watch’ to book.
- Once you’ve booked your movie, you’ll be able to start watching from On Demand, or you can find it in your Planner.

How do I book?
Book via My Account, your Sky remote control (see above instructions) or call Sky on 09 525 5555 to rent over the phone.
How many times can I watch the movie?
If you have booked on one of our SBO channels, you can watch as many times as you like during the 24-hour blocks from these start times: 7.35pm, 8.05pm, 8.35pm and 9.05pm. More info on Sky Box Office Movie Times. If you book On Demand or online, you can watch when it suits you within a window of 48hours from the time you booked.
How do I pay for my Sky Box Office movie?
Movies are billed on your monthly account. Each movie has an additional cost associated with the movie rental.
Are the movies HD?
HD titles can be booked via SBO On Demand if your Sky box is connected to the internet. HD Titles are available to customers via Ch40-43 with a HD Ready TV.
