But for the animals that live in these wetland zones, survival is a permanent battle: the powerful water cycle dictates the law. From the Bay of Fundy in Canada that has the world’s highest tides to the Kaziranga National Park in India that is subject to severe droughts and flooding, this new series explores various animals as they struggle to survive.

In this seven-part series, we see Africa as we’ve never seen it before, and experience the natural stories that stem from the flowing lifeblood of this incredible continent. Each episode follows the story of a different river, revealing how unique each one is. We'll see where the river is born, how it gathers its strength, and how it affects the surrounding landscape, while exploring the relationship between the river with the people and animals that inhabit its banks.

My Big Fat Pet Makeover

The overweight and obesity rate for dogs and cats in the United States tips the scales at more than 50% of the pet population. In new series My Big Fat Pet Makeover, pet expert and trainer Travis Brorsen is a four-month long weight-loss and behaviour modification journey with pet owners and their overweight animals with the aim of helping each pet live a healthier and happier life. Brorsen educates pet owners on how their obese pets can have major health problems, such as diabetes and heart failure.
