Sky Sport Fantasy Premier League Terms & Conditions - Sky
1. Application: These Competition Terms ("Terms") apply to the Sky Sport Fantasy Premier League (“Sky Sport Fantasy League”), organised by Sky Network Television Limited ("Sky"). These Terms form an agreement between each entrant ("you") and Sky, and you agree to these Terms by signing up to the Sky Sport Fantasy League.
2. These Terms apply in addition to the “2023/24 Fantasy Premier League – Terms & Conditions” available at https://fantasy.premierleague.com/help/terms (“Fantasy Premier League Terms”). If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Fantasy Premier League Terms, the Fantasy Premier League Terms shall apply.
3. The Sky Competitions: Sky is operating three competitions in relation to the Sky Sport Fantasy League:
o the “Be in to Win Competition”;
o the “Sky Sport Fantasy League Competition”; and
o the “Manager of the Month Competition”.
(together, the “Sky Competitions”)
The individual terms applicable to each of the Sky Competitions are set out individually below.
4. Data Sharing: By joining the Sky Sport Fantasy League, you consent to the Football Associate Premier League Limited sharing information you provide to them with Sky for the purpose of administration of the Sky Competitions.
5. Promotion: The winners of any of the Sky Competitions must make themselves available for promotional and publicity purposes on reasonable notice from Sky. Sky may use all winners' names and photographs for promotional and media purposes without compensation and all intellectual property rights including copyright in any such promotional material will belong to Sky.
6. General: Sky's decisions on all matters regarding the Sky Competitions are final and no correspondence will be entered in to. Sky may change these Terms at any time. If Sky cannot reasonably run the Sky Competitions as planned for any reason, Sky reserves the right to cancel the Sky Competitions.
7. No warranties: By entering into the Sky Competitions, you acknowledge and agree that Sky has not made any representations as to the quality or fitness for purpose of any Prize.
8. Liability: Subject to any applicable law that cannot be excluded, Sky and its employees and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage or injury by or to any person whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Sky Competitions or any Prize. Without limiting the previous sentence, Sky is not responsible for any late, misdirected or incorrectly completed entries, or any technical malfunction, delay or loss of data that occurs in the course of the administration of the Sky Competitions, however caused.
9. Collection and use of your personal information by Sky: Sky may collect and use personal information about you for the purpose of administering the Sky Competitions, verifying the validity of entries, contacting winners and checking winners' identities, and marketing the goods and services of Sky, and selected other third parties to you and your household (including via electronic message). As certain information is required in order to effectively administer the Sky Competitions, if you do not provide accurate information where requested, you may be disqualified from entry into the Sky Competitions. Sky will collect, use and hold your information in accordance with our legal obligations, including under the Privacy Act 2020. In order to request access to or correction of your personal information, or if you do not wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact Sky at 10 Panorama Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland or 09 525 5555.
10. Sky Sport New Zealand Cup: The Sky Competitions are separate from the Sky Sport New Zealand Cup competition. The Cup competitions are automatic competitions for individuals who sign up to any Fantasy Premier League. Sky is not offering any prizes in respect of the Sky Sport New Zealand Cup.
Be in to Win Competition
11. Name: This competition is called the “Be in to Win Competition”.
12. Eligibility: The Be in to Win Competition is open to New Zealand residents that are over 18 and existing Sky Sport or Sky Sport Now customers. Sky employees, as well as their immediate families, may join the Sky Sport Fantasy League but are not eligible to win the Be in to Win Competition Prize.
13. Entry: To enter the Be in to Win Competition, sign up to the Sky Sport Fantasy League by 11.59 pm on 22 August 2023 at https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/auto-join/xovihr
14. Prize: The Prize available for the Be in to Win Competition depends on whether you are a Sky Sport or a Sky Sport Now customer:
• For existing Sky Sport Now customers: A Sky Sport Now Annual Pass. (To be provided by way of a promo code for a Sky Sport Now Annual Pass).
• For existing Sky Sport customers: A year of Sky Sport on us (To be provided by way of a one-off credit on the winner’s Sky account to the value of 12 months of a Sky Sport subscription).
There is one Prize to be won. The Prize is not transferrable or exchangeable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Sky reserves the right to replace the Prize with another prize of equivalent or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason outside Sky's reasonable control.
15. Determining and contacting the winner: The Prize winner will be drawn randomly from one prize pool containing all valid entries by 22 August 2023. The winner will be contacted by email by 31 August 2023, with instructions on how to redeem the Prize. If Sky cannot contact the winner by 31 August 2023 (despite reasonable efforts to do so) or if the winner is otherwise unable to accept the Prize for reasons outside Sky's reasonable control, then the winner will forfeit the Prize and Sky may conduct a redraw and select a new winner (and may continue to do this until a winner is selected, contacted, and accepts the Prize in accordance with this clause).
Sky Sport Fantasy League Competition
16. Name: This competition is called the “Sky Sport Fantasy League Competition”
17. Eligibility: The Sky Sport Fantasy League Competition is open to New Zealand residents that are over 18 and are participating in the Sky Sport Fantasy League. Sky employees, as well as their immediate families, may join the Sky Sport Fantasy League but are not eligible to win the Sky Sport Fantasy League Competition Prize.
18. Entry: All eligible participants in the Sky Sport Fantasy League will be entered automatically into the Sky Sport Fantasy League Competition.
19. Prizes: The Prizes available for the Sky Sport Fantasy League Competition will be awarded to the eligible participants who, according to Sky’s determination, are sitting first, second and third place at the top of the overall leaderboard published by Sky at the end of the 2023/24 season. The Prizes are as follows:
• 1st Prize: Samsung 50CU7000 50" 4K Smart TV
• 2nd Prize: Samsung HW-Q600C 3.1.2 Channel Soundbar
• 3rd Prize: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5" Tablet
20. There is one of each of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes to be won. The Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Sky reserves the right to replace the Prizes with other prizes of equivalent or greater values if the Prizes become unavailable for any reason outside Sky's reasonable control. The winner’s Sky Sport or Sky Sport Now subscription will automatically continue at the end of the relevant Prize period unless the winner expressly requests otherwise, and the winner will be charged standard Sky rates for the continuation of the subscription.
21. Determining and contacting the winner: The Prize winner will be determined by the eligible entrants sitting at position 1, 2 and 3 on the overall leaderboard for the Sky Sport Fantasy League at the end of the 2023/2024 season. The winners will be contacted by email within 11 working days of end of the 2023/2024 season, with instructions on how to redeem the Prizes. If Sky cannot contact the winner (despite reasonable efforts to do so), if the winner is not an eligible participant, or if the winner is otherwise unable to accept the Prize for reasons outside Sky's reasonable control, the initial winner will lose their position on the leaderboard and the relevant Prize will be awarded to the next eligible entrant.
Manager of the Month Competition
22. Name: This competition is called the “Manager of the Month Competition”.
23. Eligibility: The Manager of the Month Competition is open to New Zealand residents that are over 18 and are participating in the Sky Sport Fantasy League. Sky employees, as well as their immediate families, may join the Sky Sport Fantasy League but are not eligible to win the Manager of the Month Competition Prize.
24. Entry: All eligible participants in the Sky Sport Fantasy League will be entered automatically into the Manager of the Month Competition.
25. Prize: The Prize available for the Manager of the Month Competition depends on whether you are a Sky Sport or a Sky Sport Now customer, or a non-Sky customer:
• For existing Sky Sport Now customers or non-Sky customers: A Sky Sport Now Month Pass. (To be provided by way of a promo code for a Sky Sport Now Month Pass).
• For existing Sky Sport customers: A month of Sky Sport on us (To be provided by way of a one-off credit on the winner’s Sky account to the value of one month of a Sky Sport subscription).
There is one Prize to be won each month. The Prize is not transferrable or exchangeable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. 27. No Prize in consecutive months: No person may win the Prize in consecutive months. If the same person is “Manager of the Month” for the second month in a row, the Prize will be awarded to the next eligible participant.
