How To Train Your Dragon

Sunday 22 December, 7pm Channel 036

Animated: Hiccup, the son of a Viking chief must capture a dragon in order to mark his passage into manhood and prove his worthiness to the tribe. Things take a turn when Hiccup shoots down a mysterious night fury but can’t bring himself to kill it. Instead he becomes friends with the dragon, who he dubs Toothless, and begins to realise that his people may have misjudged the dragon species.

Animated: One magical day, June is running through the woods to find her way home when she discovers an old rollercoaster car and climbs inside. She suddenly finds herself in Wonder Land, an amusement park she had created in her mind and put aside. All the rides and characters are brought to life but are falling into disarray without her.

Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

Animated: It's been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt. The battle to defeat the invaders and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a galaxy filled with fantastic planets, strange characters and catchy new songs.

Gracie

Tuesday 3 December, 7pm Channel 036

Family: In 1978 New Jersey, at a time when it was thought women couldn’t play soccer, Gracie Bowen defies all odds. Growing up she always loved soccer along with her three brothers and former soccer star father. However, she is discouraged by everyone except her older brother Johnny. Her father doesn’t believe that girls should play soccer and tells her she isn’t tough enough or good enough.

Free Willy

Thursday 5 December, 7pm Channel 036

Family: After vandalising the marina 12-year-old Jesse is ordered by the court to clean up the faded Northwest Adventure Park. Here he befriends Willy, the park's notoriously difficult orca. As the two misfits bond, Willy joyfully responds to Jesse's commands with a spectacular display of flips, rolls, leaps and dives. But Jesse discovers the park's owners plan to kill Willy.

Family: Haley Graham is a rebellious 17-year-old who is forced to return to the regimented world of gymnastics after a run-in with the law. A judge sentences Haley to her ultimate nightmare - attending an elite gymnastics academy run by legendary hardnosed coach Burt Vickerman. Haley surprises herself as she discovers an unexpected ally in the form of her new coach, and learns respect is a two-way street.

Family: It's been two years since a brave 12-year-old boy rescued a majestic orca whale named Willy, but their reunion is marred when an oil spill threatens Willy's pod. Jesse and Willy are reunited as Jesse begins a rescue mission.

Family: When her twin brother Sebastian decides to ditch school to try and break into the London music scene, Viola disguises herself as him and takes his place in order to play soccer. She wasn’t expecting to fall in love with her roommate Duke, who only has eyes for Olivia. Making matters worse Olivia is starting to fall for Sebastian who, for reasons Oliva couldn’t begin to guess, seems to be the sensitive guy she’s always dreamed of.

Free Willy 3: The Rescue

Family: Destiny reunites 16-year-old Jesse and killer whale Willy who share a unique and everlasting friendship. Jesse has taken a job, alongside his friend Randolph, on an orca research ship, and together they try to foil an illegal whaler who is threatening Willy and his pregnant mate.

Family: Roxy and Jane are polar opposite twin sisters. One day Jane is heading into New York City to present a speech which may gain her a scholarship to Oxford. While Roxy is trying to get into a music video of her favourite band which is being filmed in New York City.
