RIALTO SELECTIONS: A WORLD OF ARTHOUSE FILM

Mondays 8.30pm in January

Rialto World celebrates a sensational array of arthouse foreign film. ‘The Image Book’ celebrates the work of legendary director, Jean-Luc Godard. In a collage film essay, his famous style and inspiring perspective, is an ode to his outstanding eye. ‘Love Me Not’ is Greek film which is a dramatic exploration of drama and mystery following the arrival of a new family member. In a unique dada art inspired animation film from Hungary, ‘Ruben Brandt, Collector’ is a mesmerising adventure into the challenged mind of a psychotherapist. Finally, ‘Happy As Lazzaro’ is a charming and at times bizarre story of the loveable young Lazzaro. A fine Italian end, to a wonderful range of films.
