MUSIC MAKERS

THURSDAY NIGHTS AT 8.30PM

‘Music Makers’ is a special exploration into the minds and hearts of some of the finest creators in the music industry. Looking to unravel the truths and myths behind the life and career of one of Australia’s most brilliant and prolific concert pianists, Geoffrey Tozer, ‘The Eulogy’ explores the arts industry in Australia and how to best nurture such talent. ‘Eat That Question: Frank Zappa In His Own Words’ is an amazingly witty and potent blend of Zappa’s signature sounds and revolutionary perspective on art, creativity and wider society. ‘Lambert & Stamp’ were the legendary managers of ‘The Who’, a band which reflected a changing and more liberal youth culture in London in the early 1960s. Finally ‘Ella Fitzgerald: Just One Of Those Things’, moves beyond conventional biopic, to use images and music to evoke the vibe of the era in order to bring to life the context of Fitzgerald’s unique career.
