WE’RE MAKING
HIGH DEFINITION AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE

On April 1, some behind the scenes changes we’re making may affect some series link and future recordings.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR MY SKY RECORDINGS

We’re making High Definition available to everyone, so you can watch selected programmes on SKY’s channels in HD with the best picture quality.

To ensure we make the necessary changes to bring all our customers HD with as little impact to your SKY experience as possible, we will be making some behind the scenes changes from 10am on 1 April 2019.  We expect these changes to take no more than a few hours, and there will be no impact to viewing during this time.

These changes will unfortunately impact your MY SKY future recordings/series links.   This means that after 6pm on 1 April 2019, you will need to rebook any upcoming recordings you have on the following channels:

For customers NOT currently receiving HD:

  • SKY BOX SETS
  • SoHo and SoHo 2
  • SKY Movies
  • SKY Sport
  • beIN SPORTS

For HD customers:

  • SKY Movies
  • SKY Sport

If you don’t rebook, you will lose any bookings or series links you made in your planner before 6pm 1 April 2019.

To make sure you don’t miss out on any of your favourite programmes please make the following changes with your remote:

  1. Before 10am 1 April 2019 makes a list of programmes on the above channels that are in your planner waiting to be recorded.
  2. From 6pm on 1 April 2019 (or as soon as possible thereafter) rebook a recording of the programmes on your list using the record button in the normal way.
There are currently over 20 channels available in High Definition, and over the next few months, we’ll be making more of our channels HD for you to enjoy.
