Sky Super Rugby Trans-Tasman

Starts 14 May

Sky Super Rugby Trans-Tasman kicks off on the 14th of May so you can dive straight back into more Super Rugby action against the Brumbies, Force, Reds, Waratahs and Rebels. They will be full of confidence across the ditch after a lot of promising signs from the Wallabies in last year’s Tri-Nations.

Competition Schedule

We reckon we’re rugby’s number one fan and that’s one of the reasons why we’re now the proud sponsor of Sky Super Rugby Aotearoa and Sky Super Rugby Trans-Tasman.

Last year’s Super Rugby Aotearoa thrilled the country with intense rivalries, nail-biting finishes and incredible atmospheres at every game. The Crusaders showed their clinical playing style to take out the first title but not without stiff competition from the Blues and Hurricanes. The Highlanders gave us some magic moments too and the Chiefs will certainly be looking to improve on last year’s performance, led by All Black skipper Sam Cane.

The new competition format for Sky Super Rugby 2021 sees all teams play each other twice over 10 weeks. 1st place will then play 2nd place in a winner-takes-all final on May 8th.

Sky Super Rugby Trans-Tasman kicks off the week after this final so you can dive straight back into more Super Rugby action against the Brumbies, Force, Reds, Waratahs and Rebels. They will be full of confidence across the ditch after a lot of promising signs from the Wallabies in last year’s Tri-Nations.
