Supercars Championship

The Supercars Championship returns to action in late June, with Sydney Motorsport Park hosting the first round in the BP Ultimate SuperSprint as part of the Virgin Australia Supercar Championships. The majority of the Supercar 2020 season had been placed on hold due to Covid-19, but a revised schedule has now been released, and it all starts back up again with the Sydney SuperSprint on the 27th & 28th June. Sydney is set to be a milestone event both racers and race fans alike.

The Supercars Championship roars into life this weekend thanks to careful planning and management across the ditch, and Sky Sport will be broadcasting and streaming all the action throughout. But it doesn’t stop there.

Investec Super Rugby Aotearoa

The coronavirus pandemic obliterated the international sporting landscape, and Super Rugby in its traditional form stood no hope of continuing this year.
New Zealand’s progress in fighting the virus meant a Super Rugby competition with only Kiwi teams became a reality.
Investec Super Rugby Aotearoa will run across 10 weeks with every team playing each other twice; no playoffs will be contested, so the club with the most points from their eight matches will claim the crown.

Top-level Netballers Bounce Back

Some 14 weeks after just one round and three of the 48 games in the 2020 season were able to be played, the ANZ Premiership will resume, not quite where it left off, but with a jam packed schedule of classic match ups between the six teams. The Mystics, Stars, Magic, Pulse, Tactix and Steel will be back on court from June 19th for ‘take two’ of the competition.

What was viewed by many as a controversial and bold plan by the NRL to resume the competition on May 28th has come to fruition.
However, what we pick up with and how the season looks is vastly different to what we had when we kicked off round one on March 12th.
