UPDATE ON THE IMPACTS OF COVID-19

Firstly, we hope you’re well. Things are a bit challenging right now for everyone; whether you’re a valued essential worker, working from home or simply looking after yourself or your family. Thank goodness there’s lots to watch on Sky! So many things have changed during the Covid-19 lockdown in New Zealand, and a few of these changes have impacted our Sky services.

CALLING ALL BALLERS – AND GAMERS, NBA PLAYERS GO HEAD-TO-HEAD IN FIRST EVER "NBA 2K PLAYERS’ TOURNAMENT" ON ESPN ON SKY

The game has changed. NBA is not currently live on the court, but it will be on Sky in your living room Saturday 4 April, with the launch of NBA 2K on ESPN – preview at 12 midday and first tip off at 12.30.
Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant and 16th seed Derrick Jones Jr., Miami Heat are first up in the “NBA 2K Players Tournament,” an NBA 2K20 gameplay tournament between current NBA players who will compete in a single-elimination, player-only tournament on Xbox One.

We’re always keen to find the silver lining, and one from this crisis is that it encourages creativity – there are all sorts of great ideas coming out of the Sky Sport crew, across many sports.
While the Tour De France 2020 is looking a little uncertain right now, the tours in your homes are well and truly under way as we get on our bikes to stay fit. So, to inspire everyone to keep going, the Sky Sport crew is putting together a virtual Tour for fans to emulate the toughest cycling competition in the world.

ISOLATION NATION: SKY SPORT LAUNCH NEW RUGBY SERIES

New Zealand's professional rugby players have combined to create a unique and entertaining new rugby series called Isolation Nation, which will screen twice weekly on Sky Sport.
Sky Sport's new show has been created in conjunction with New Zealand Rugby (NZR), the New Zealand Rugby Players’ Association (NZRPA) and the country’s five Investec Super Rugby and goes to air on Wednesday, 1 April.
